Product Features
The Ksyrium S Disc is 40g lighter than the previous Ksyrium UST Disc, and is stronger and more laterally rigid. Stiffness is optimized using Fore technology.
The upper bridge remains hole-free, optimizing strength and stiffness and requiring no rim tape, saving an additional 30g per wheel. The new rim shape makes mounting and detaching tyres easier than ever before, and our UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and grip, reducing the risk of punctures. These rims are manufactured in France in our aluminium rim factory.
Our new Infinity hub platform optimizes stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while the Instant Drive 360 freewheel combined with our automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) ensures rapid engagement and durability. The Ksyrium S isn’t just fast in performance, it’s also fast in looks. The matte painted hubs, invisible edge weld and deep black spokes give this wheelset a premium look that stands out from the rest. Designed specifically for disc brakes, this wheel is compatible with 12x100 front and 12x142 rear axles and can be converted to Quick Release with the included spokes. It’s available for Shimano and Sram XD-Road cassettes and can be converted to Campagnolo with an optional freehub. For Center-Lock disc rotors only.
