Shimano SH-RC703 Wide Fit Road Cycling Shoes ESHRC703MCW01E

Regional adjustment with two BOA L6Z

Each shoe has two BOA L6Z dials that allow for independent tension adjustment in different areas of the upper. The low-profile cross-lacing system aims to securely hold the forefoot evenly.

Carbon structure with a rigidity index of 10

The rigid carbon midsole limits flex under pedal pressure, enhancing power transfer. The low sole height helps keep the foot balanced on the pedal. The Shimano stiffness index value is 10.

Air circulation and water drainage

The perforated synthetic leather upper supports air circulation. Openings in the carbon midsole at the forefoot and heel sections help air flow through and drain incoming water.

Upper structure that wraps the foot

The Surround Wrapping design wraps around the foot by reducing layer overlaps. Seamless midsole and upper structure integrity support a close fit, keeping the foot stable while pedaling.

Who is the Wide fit for?

Shimano DYNALAST Wide offers more internal volume especially in the front part of the foot compared to the standard fit. If the toe box feels tight despite the length being appropriate, a wider fit should be considered instead of a larger size.

Wide does not mean a better fit for all foot shapes. When choosing a size, foot length, width, and heel grip should all be checked together.

Size selection and maintenance

Compare your foot measurements with the Shimano size chart and try the shoe on with your cycling socks. Toes should not be cramped, and the heel should not move excessively. The BOA adjustment does not compensate for choosing the wrong size or fit.

Use mild cleaners and a soft cloth for cleaning. Dry the shoe naturally; avoid high heat and strong solvents. Follow the manufacturer's care instructions.
